PHP can also serve as a preventative measure from needing an inpatient hospital stay or can be the next step following an inpatient detox and/or residential treatment. PHP meets 5 days a week for 5 hours each day. While participating in the PHP process, the client will take part in group therapy, individual counseling, family sessions, and medication intervention as deemed appropriate by the individualized treatment plan.
