Federal authorities in New York have levied charges against Klaus Pflugbeil and Yilong Shao for their involvement in misappropriating Tesla’s battery manufacturing technology. Pflugbeil, a 58-year-old Canadian resident of Ningbo, China, was apprehended in Long Island under the guise of a business negotiation, which turned out to be a sting operation with undercover federal agents.
